The Pre-Buy Before A Project No Buy

I've always loved makeup and after several years, the products I have purchased have completely racked up. So after looking at my makeup collection carefully, I have decided to go on a project no buy. I was thinking of doing a Project 10 Pan (when you use up 10 products before you are allowed to purchase more makeup), but makeup takes quite a long time to use up, and I love to use different products everyday instead of using the same thing, so I figured a Project no buy was the best way to go.  I don't know how long this no-buy will last, but I do want to use up a couple makeup products before allowing myself to buy things again.

But of course, typical me, I decided I needed some stuff before completely committing myself to it, so these past couple weeks, I bought some stuff to hold me through until I allow myself to buy things again.
Yay! Super excited to experiment with some color, which was why I originally bought things things in the first place.

I bought the two Wet n' Wild spring collections online, because I looked at all the local CVS's near me and just couldn't find these two, but there was a company online that sold them, but unfortunately they were bit more expensive than the retail cost and you could only buy both palettes together. But I'm glad I finally got my hands on them because I have been really having the urge to play with colored eyeshadow, and unfortunately, my whole entire makeup collection consists on neutral colors.

And after drooling over this next product for the longest time, I finally decided that I absolutely needed it. And it is the Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel (or the Chanel cream bronzer). I've heard such good things about it and I am a bronzer girl. I don't think I can leave the house without bronzer, so I finally decided to splurge and get this.

I also got another eyeshadow palette. I got this Lorac: GloGetter palette because I was thinking about getting the Sigma: Resort palette, but it was 40+ dollars while this Lorac, Ulta exclusive palette is only 20 dollars. Again, I've been wanting to play with some colors so I thought this was a better buy than the sigma palette.

Also got the e.l.f: Kabuki Face Brush as well a China Glaze nail polish in It's a Trap-eze!

And as I was on my way to the check out stand at Target, I saw this scarf that completely stole my eyes and it was on clearance for around 10 dollars. This scarf is from Merona, and it just screams spring and summer which is what I am completely into right now!
I have ONE more thing from Hautelook that I bought almost two weeks ago, but after that arrives, I am going on my no buy! I'm a bit nervous because I am just a makeup junkie! I probably use a good chunk of my paycheck to go towards makeup or skin care related things. But I'm definitely excited to really focus in on what I already own, and use it and experiment with what I have! Here goes nothing!

  3. Great products! I've tried some Wet n Wild palettes, and the eyeshadow quality is quite good for the price point. And I absolutely LOVE the quality of Lorac shadows. I had no idea that the brand had come out with a newer palette! I may need to frequent Ulta more, haha.

Would you like to follow each other? Please let me know, and have a great weekend :)
